Catholic Easter in the Cologne Cathedral
Cologne Cathedral, Catholic Easter-Sunday March 24, 2008
I was there with junior in the sling. He was quiet because the most of the time he was sleeping.
The rays of the Sunlight in these pictures are passing through the glass pane on the window which is designed from the artist Gerhard Richter for the Cologne Cathedral. Gerhard Richter is considered by some critics as one of the most important European artists and is also one of the world's most expensive, with his paintings often selling for several million dollars apiece.
The Bishop, Joachim Kardinal Meisner was also there. Another time I have to devote a post to some of his choices for architecture and art.
